Poppy Day

Poppy Day is our next planned event and this year the national theme Poppy Day Appeal is “He whanau kotahi tatou – We are all family” acknowledging service comes with personal sacrifice, yet the impact is also felt intensely by family members, sometimes lasting across many generations.

Our Poppy Appeal days this year are 18th and 20th of April.

Volunteers are the backbone of any organisation and this year we have a good support but we could do with more. If you have some spare time please contact Wally on 0273445750 as we do need you.

It is likely you have a history or a connection to service somewhere. Take the time to discover and share it. We encourage people to explore their own connection to New Zealand’s military service and history.
